Well this is a first for me. Even though I have given birth four times I have never actually witnessed a live birth. Wow. It was amazing and I was lucky enough to be able to photograph it. I kinda went overboard on the photos but seriously I could not decide, yes I posted a lot of pictures. There was so much emotion and I felt like every picture told the story. I love that the fact that not one photo was posed or staged and there was no editing done with the exception of converting them to black and white. Michelle is one of my very best friends and I was honored that she let me share in the moment. Congrats Michelle and Jake and your new little Izzy, she is a true gift.

This was such a great couple! I have problems with remembering grooms names and they were so great to work with even though I called him every name but Derek! I love this time of year because all the colors are so bright and vibrant, it makes the best background for a beautiful bride and groom

These are some of the best “first glance” shots! Leah loves to laugh and Laramie does a good job of making her do so. It was hard to get some serious expressions but toward the end Laramie said his back hurt because of his shoes, haha, he makes me laugh too. So those serious romantic shots we got were really just Laramie in pain. Enjoy this fun couple!

Leah is one of the cutest people I know! She not only a friend but colleague. Yes she is a new teacher in my department. I know, hard to believe she is a teacher when she looks like a student, but she is a great teacher. I was so happy to shoot her engagement session and it was so hard not to find a photo where she is laughing. Laramie makes her very happy congrats!
