Bailey and Brad Engagements

November 2, 2011

Is this not the cutest couple??  They just look like they were born to be together.  We had a blast and yep once again I am the luckiest photographer to get such clients! Thanks B and B :)

An oldie but a goodie!

October 10, 2011

I am going to try and post some of my weddings from the past year.  Here is one that I did for some very good friends of mine and as you can see it from the photos it was shot in the early spring last year, but I wanted to post it anyway.  Yes, I know, but I still have my kid-lets that take first priority, so let’s blame it on them.  I try and blame things on them whenever possible.  just. kidding.  Enjoy this beautiful couple :)

Beautiful Kristen

September 30, 2011

What a beautiful girl!  She’s already in college, but hey it’s NEVER too late for “senior pictures”  right?  She was stunning and it was hard for me to find a pose she didn’t look good in!

Well, it’s football season, my favorite sport to watch!  These two are definitely in the mood for a little or football and in the mood for a little love.  Yes we did other photos besides football. But I just could resist posting these right away!   He is actually playing football in college so it was only fitting.  Enjoy!

Perfect little fam.

Ok, so is this not the cutest little family you have ever seen! And ya I could pretty much take this little girl home, but I’m pretty sure she’d be missed :)  They are looking to expand their family and they are in the process of trying to adopt.  Best of luck to them, that will be one lucky little baby :)

Also I know so many of you are waiting to see YOUR pictures on here, and I’m sooooo sorry. People say to me all the time “I just don’t know how you do it all”  Well, here’s the answer:  ”I don’t!”  That’s the reason I am so far behind, but I am slowly getting on top of it and I will try and keep up on this ole blog of mine.

If you have called, texted, emailed or chatted a message to me, try again, I am trying to return all my messages and I’m not the most organized person in the universe, so give it another try. Thanks and enjoy!

Yes I know, I am behind on this blog.  Remember that one time I said I was going to stay caught up?  Ya well, life took over and I’m just starting to get out from under the pile, make that, the mountain of photos I need to work on!  Here is a fun session I did for Shane and Brittany.  I knew going into the shoot it would be anything but normal and I loved it!  There is a story behind the pizza and I know I would not even begin to tell it the right way so I won’t try.  Let’s just say it’s a cute story and after the pizza is all eaten they have each other for eternity.  (see I made it sound lame) Also they thought it would fun to take advantage of all the flooding we having going on.  I especially love the photo of the two of them standing in the road, dangerous but worth it.  They were great!

A and C formals…

June 11, 2011

What a beautiful couple!  I know I say that about everyone, but really I get the greatest people to work with!!  After we took some shots at the temple we ventured out to an orchard and I love how much “love” is displayed in such a simple setting.  Soooooo excited for the wedding!

Kylee and Luke were so fun to work with and I could not ask for a more beautiful setting!  It rained pretty much non stop, but I guess that’s what you have to expect when you shoot in Portland in the winter.  But we had a wonderful time and the Portland temple is now one of my favorites!  That temple and it’s surroundings are breathtaking.  I don’t think I have ever been to a reception with so many people it was literally packed wall to wall the entire evening.  It was such a fun day, so if you need me to fly to Portland, I’m there!!

I absolutely love the rain, it’s my favorite thing!  I love the smell of it, the sound of it, the way it makes everything so clean.  But this spring the rain has made my life very difficult.  I have had to re-schedule shoot after shoot, which puts me way too close to the wedding for those couples that need their engagement photos yesterday and their formals that need printed by tomorrow.  I have been working so hard to get them all done before the big day.  This also puts a cramp in my style while working with my seniors.  I try not to shoot any seniors in the month of May, well that went out the window when we were still having snow during spring break!!  Trying to get all those seniors done before graduation was a project, lots of sleepless nights.  In fact there were a couple of nights I went to school without ever having gone to bed.  In fact one of students in my first hour said, “what’s wrong with you, you look like you dead, are you ok?”  Ah, teenagers, love their honesty :)

So, needless to say if I shot your wedding and you are still waiting for your photos, I am truly sorry.  Let’s blame it on mother nature for messing with my schedule.  I am slowly getting caught up and I have so much I want to blog.  I am hiring a secretary/assistant that will be running all my errands and keeping me organized, which I totally suck at. So maybe I’ll get some sleep :)

Ok, so now that I’ve written a novel, let’s get to this cute couple.  The day they chose for they’re engagements was non stop rain.  But they were both coming from out of town and she was just cast as Cinderella in a community play, their schedule was very limited. But they decided to just go for it and look what fun photos we captured with a little creativity and a few stops to curl the hair :)
