Welcome to my blog! I love seeing life through my camera lens and creating something beautiful. I want to create stunning images that are full of emotion. Whether that emotion be happy, sad, passionate, lovely, fun or funky. I love variety and try not to do the same thing twice. As a photographer I like to have fun and make people feel comfortable. I live in Cache Valley where I also teach high school, have an extremely supportive husband and four crazy boys.
I specialize in natural light photography with an emphasis on infant, children, seniors, family and wedding photography. In other words just about everything!
As always please leave comments so I know who you are :)

The mom of this family is a dear friend of mine and she really wanted to get some pictures with the whole family when they were all in town together. We had a three day window to get this family done and two of those days it was a complete blizzard. But we sure lucked out with beautiful weather this day and a beautiful family! A big thank you to this family for running from one place to another according to what the clouds and sun were doing.

These kids decided to secretly get together and get their pictures taken for the their parents Christmas present. Such nice kids to do something like this. I hope my kids do that for me someday…except wait…I would be the one taking the pictures! I loved this first photo, I told them they could be members of the Cullen family, for those of you Twilight fans. So beautiful, mysterious and vampire-ish! Great kids!
This cute couple needed some quick pictures for a Christmas gift so we did a mini session and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. She is one of my very best friends…I know what you thinking, um…isn’t there a huge generation gap? Ok, so she could almost, and I mean almost be my daughter, but she is truly one of my favorite people. We have just clicked from day one and I love having her as a friend, she’s the best! Oh, and her husband’s pretty great too
.
This is such a cute family. These two were actually my students a few years back. High school sweethearts then and many years later still sweethearts. If anyone needs a lesson on how to treat your spouse, just spend some time with these two! Always so nice and considerate of each other. And their sweet little boy is just starved for attention…can’t you tell. haha. Thanks you two!
Ok, this is for all the girls out there…here is your fair warning… Caution! The images you are about to view below contain some very good looking boys, view at your own risk! haha. I had so much fun with these guys. These brothers are soooo handsome, every single picture looked awesome! But you know what even made them better, look how cute they are with their mom! I love the pictures of them hugging their mom. As you can see they get there great looks from their gorgeous mother. Thanks Maughan family!
I am finally getting the chance to post this cute family. From the day I downloaded their pictures I wanted to plaster them all over my blog…but in due time. I have had millions of pictures I have needed to get out and so they had to wait…they were fine, I was impatient! If you look below you will see why. This baby was probably the most fun I’ve ever had shooting a baby, just look at those expressions on his face…a different one every time. I could have posted 50 more and each one would have a different expression. He was such a happy little guy, I think it comes from his parents, they are such a fun family. Yes, his dad is slightly crazy
and I think that’s where baby Mason gets it from. Such a cute family they look like they could be models in an aeropostal ad.
That’s right, count em…this family has six boys and yes their mom is still smiling
. They were so well behaved I was starting to dought my own parenting skills, so at one point I asked them to please punch each other in the arm or at least act like they were fighting. Their parents assured me they were “bribed and threatened” before the shoot, so I felt much better. They really were such a great family and I think we got some great candid shots. I love the picture of mom and dad kissing, make sure you look at the twins expressions on their faces….so funny. Thanks Allison, your little family was great you should be proud…you are raising some great men.
Just look at these cute little cowboys!!! They were so funny, they loved posing for the camera and toward the end of the shoot they even got out their ropes and started roping, it was so stinkin cute. Their mom is a good friend of mine from work and I was so excited to do something different. I thought they turned out great. And despite what you said Marty, I still think I’m more scared of cows than they are of me! Thanks Thompson family!
What a fun family! I hadn’t met this family before the shoot and when they showed up they just kept piling out of the car, 7 kids total. I had never shot a family that laughed as much as they did. They had so much fun together! When I took pics of all the boys together they just kept teasing each other and laughing, it was hard to get a serious one. But…. if you scroll to the bottom of the post I think you will see just where the the kids get it from……..thanks mom and dad!
