This was such a party!!  We had fun from the beginning of the day until the very end.  I was really excited to do a shoot at this new location and I was not disappointed.  The bride looked amazing the groom looked oh so handsome, although he looked kinda nervous when I first got there.  I think he just really wanted the ceremony over with.  He has always been such a good sport when if comes to pictures and he was ready and willing to do whatever I asked him too.

I loved the bridesmaid flowers too, so I just had to get a photo with the bridesmaids striking a pose,  oh la la!  What a beautiful bunch!! Ella Bella Floral did an amazing jobwith the flowers!!

Being a girl with a sweet tooth of my own I was loving the fact that it was candy, ice cream, candy, cake and more candy!  I just had to include a picture of the cake topper.  If you know Kenzie at all this cake topper was right on the money, I loved it!

Thanks you two and good luck in the future!

More to come…..

Just had to throw out an image from my shoot tonight.  I was so mad at the weather.  But I’ve decided to give up my total hate for the wind.  This picture makes it more of a “love-hate”  relationship.  Thanks wind, you really came through tonight, I’m not mad at you anymore :)

I was soooo excited to do this shoot!  I have known these two since they were just falling in love and sitting in the back row of my high school class.  They were totally meant for each other and it shows in these photos.  She waited two very long years and it wasn’t too long after he got home that I recieved that call from her asking if I would be available for their wedding.   I love seeing this story come full cricle, congrats you two!!

What a beautiful day not to mention a beautiful couple to make this a perfect wedding.  I had so much fun shooting this wedding because I am friends with the bride’s family.  So I also got to decorate for the reception, assemble the wedding cake and help out in the kitchen with food, it was a fun break from the photography for a little while.  But,  it also made me realize that I would totally suck at being a wedding planner, way too stressful  I think I’ll stick to my area of expertise and keep snapping photos :)   As far as the photos are concerned my favorite one is number 4, it was a total candid shot and I love how it is so full of emotion….totally 100% in love with one another :)   Which one is your favorite?

This post is so long over due, but I guess better late than never right?  right! :) This is one of the longest posts but I had a lot to pick from and I just couldn’t decide.  It was so refreshing to shoot something so different.  I am used to shooting most of my weddings in Utah, so this was a real treat, to shoot a wedding in a beautiful chapel and the reception in a vineyard.

This was the sweetest couple ever!  The were married in a beautiful Catholic chapel and the recpetion/dinner/party was held at a beautiful vineyard.  We had so much fun and the weather was outstanding.  What a great day!  Stacy Rose photography was a second shooter and I am so grateful for her and all her assistance.  Thanks Stacy!

Couldn’t wait…

Just had to add one of my favorites from a shoot I did yesterday, more to come

Spring is coming and with that being said, this shoot was mmmuudddyy!!  This poor bride to be never complained once as I made her tromp through mud in her stilettos.  When I saw them pull up in his truck I just knew the truck needed to be part of the shoot, that helped to put a smile on Kylers face ;)   Thanks Julie and Kyler for a great shoot!
