Welcome to my new blog! I have had a passion for taking pictures all my life. I love seeing life through my lens and creating something beautiful. I want to create stunning images that are full of emotion. Whether that emotion be happy, sad, passionate, lovely, fun or funky. I love variety and try not to do the same thing twice. As a photographer I like to have fun and make people feel comfortable. I live in Cache Valley where I also teach high school, have an awesome husband and four crazy boys.
I specialize in natural light photography with an emphasis on infant, children, seniors, family and wedding photography. In other words just about everything!

Wow, what an adventure!!! I was so excited to do formals for these two and I made them go places that you just should have to go in a wedding dress and tux! But I have to admit it was worth it and we did have a lot of fun. I just can’t say enough about this couple and the chemistry between them. They met through her friend and the both said they just knew on their first meeting that it could be something special. Stay tuned for the actual wedding day photos, I can’t wait!!

I just love this girl! She was a student of mine and is actually going into the same major as me, so I just have a connection with her. Could she get anymore beautiful?? Their wedding is coming… you don’t want to miss it!
Just wanted to throw out a quick post of these bridals I did a few weeks ago. I am busy busy busy so I don’t have time to write a whole bunch. But I do want to say, she is GORGEOUS!!! Don’t you agree??
Whew! I have been wanting to post this wedding for a long time, but I have been so busy it had to wait. So thank you to everyone who was patiently waiting for this wedding post. Kim was a student of mine a few years ago and when she contacted me to do her pictures not even her family knew she was going to get engaged. I had to keep it secret which was so hard because I saw her sister everyday! We had to do some sneaky planning because these two are actually going to college in the mid west and we only had a window of time to do the pictures when they would be home on break. We did lots and lots of emailing and texting to coordinate it all. But WOW, they did such a good job with all the details it turned out to be completely stunning.
I did a wedding in Salt Lake last Friday and just wanted throw out a little sneak peak.
Back by popular demand….I had so many people asking me who the “umbrella” couple was and could they please see more. Well, here are her bridals and she is amazingly beautiful. I couldn’t capture a bad picture of her, she was great. She is an art major at BYU and she loves doing whatever it takes to capture an artistic shot. Thanks Melissa, I had sooooo much fun!
